Wir lernen Wade Watts kennen, einen 18-jährigen Jungen, der in einem übereinander gestapelten Trailerpark lebt und davon träumt, die Milliardenerbschaft von James Halliday zu gewinnen.
Während Wade in der virtuellen OASIS nach Hinweisen sucht, haben die beiden Moderatoren jede Menge Spaß daran, über absurd-lustige Themen wie Diebstähle im Ruhrgebiet, 80er-Jahre-Popkultur und die Herausforderungen des Alltags in dieser zukünftigen Welt zu sprechen. Ein herrlich chaotischer Auftakt zur Schatzsuche!
